About this site
What Dragon's Crown means to me and why put together a website.

The game
I first came across Dragon's Crown at a friend's place in summer 2014. He and his brother had a ton of games on their modified PS3. Dragon's Crown was among them. Together with their boy&girl friends, they formed a 4 player local co-op. I immediately fell in love with the game as the story started to unfold. The art direction, music/score and character design transformed the living room into a world of swords and sorcery. I barely played any game console until then.

The fantasy
There was an animation series called "The record of Lodoss war" that I watched when I was little. The resemblance between the cartoon and Dragon's Crown is apparent: the characters, environment and even the stories. It wasn't until someone told me about the DnD that I realized there's a whole genre of games with similar settings. Dragon's Crown became my ticket to an escape into the fantasy world - a place where I frist played an elf just like Deedlit in Lodoss war.

The quandry
Players may get through the whole storyline within a day. With online co-op and the Tower of Mirages some people clocked hundreds of hours. The current level of experience appears polarized among online players - the experts and beginners, with few in between. For an aging game it is inevitable. However this site hopes to make things easier for people who are new to this game. The purpose of this site is to serve as an index of the resources scattered all over the internet, and connect people who want to play together.
